Rectron Co., Ltd. was founded by a group of experienced semiconductor engineers in Taipei in January 1975. With local financing, Rectron soon became a recognized supplier of quality discrete semiconductors.

In 1981, Rectron increased its sales revenue through direct access to the global semiconductor market through its exclusive distributor and agent network. The expansion was arranged in early 1994 when Rectron commissioned a Chinese factory to improve our competitive advantage and increase Manufacturing capacity of discrete device products.

All rectron plants are wholly owned and utilize customized, vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly processes. Our Chinese factory has obtained TS16949 quality approval standard and has ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 environmental, health and safety certification. Rectron has achieved unparalleled quality and productivity. Adopt IPQC, SPC and TQM methods in semiconductor production to improve the quality level.

Rectron was approved for the initial public offering of common shares in January 1985 and has opened a wholly-owned subsidiary in Los Angeles, USA; London, Britain and Hong Kong. With more than 40 years of rectifier manufacturing experience, rectron is widely accepted as the de facto standard of major OEMs in every geographical location.
